How do you make science fun? Lappé was Story Producer for the irreverent weekly news magazine. He helped launch the show and was responsible for mapping out each season of themed episodes, in addition to researching, writing and producing the show’s premiere content – its innovative magazine packages. He also oversaw original animations and motion graphics for the show’s branded segments. The show was produced by CBS News Productions and ran for 39 episodes on Discovery’s Science Channel.
